Net Impact with HEC - 6th Annual HEC Paris Social Business Conference

Our Decision Today, Our Impact Tomorrow”

6th Annual HEC Paris Social Business Conference

May 5-6, 2009

Dear Net Impact Member,

In order to address the broad and varied challenges of a rapidly changing world, HEC Paris is teaming up with Net Impact this spring for its sixth annual social business conference, « Our Decision Today, Our Impact Tomorrow. »

This exciting two-day event, which just precedes MBAT, brings together conscious academics, passionate students and responsible professionals to discuss and collaborate on ideas, projects and initiatives that are suitable for the social and environmental challenges of our generation. This year, we have adopted a triple focus on Resource Cultivation, the Power of Consumers and Poverty Reduction. However closely linked, these topics have widespread implications for possible business practices and offer a worthy platform for discussion, debate and exchange.

From keynote speeches and panel debates to roundtable discussions and case competitions, this conference will challenge students to engage with experts and peers and think deeply about the role of business in today’s world. At the same time, by creating an environment of consciousness responsibility, the conference attracts businesses and students who share your concerns and priorities and thus provides lasting network opportunities. In order to learn more, you can consult the attached brochure or visit our website, www.socialbusinessconference.org, for the most up-to-date information. There is a discount for early registration.

“Our Decision Today, Our Impact Tomorrow” is organized in partnership with the HEC Chair in Social Business, which is co-chaired by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Dr. Muhammad Yunus and High Commissioner for Active Solidarities against Poverty, Martin Hirsch.

We look forward to sharing this unique and inspiring experience with you and of welcoming to you to our Paris Campus this spring. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly.

All Best,

Net Impact Tokyo does not support or sponsor either of these links, but simply offer them as suggestions to get you started:
